Crikey group subscriptions offer

NOTE: I’m returning this to the top of the page because the offer closes Wednesday. We’re still below 50 takers at present, so the current rate is $85.

As we did about 13 months ago, Crikey is calling out to the esteemed Poll Bludger readership for expressions of interest in discounted group subscriptions. We have delayed making this offer while the technical problems we were experiencing during our recent server transfer were sorted out – those of you who participated last year had your existing subscriptions extended until the end of April to tide you over. I believe it safe to say that the transfer is bedded down, the super-powerful new servers are whizzing along nicely, and life in Crikeydom is now the proverbial bowl of cherries.

If you’re interested in taking part, fire off an email to subs@crikey.com.au with POLL BLUDGER in the subject line. The cost per subscription will depend on how many takers we get, with the scale running as follows:

Over 10 subscribers: $95
Over 20 subscribers: $85
Over 50 subscribers: $75

This compares with a normal rate of $185, which itself works out to about 70 cents per email. If we can clear 50 takers, that will come down to 29 cents. For your coinage you will receive top quality reporting and analysis on politics, the media, business, international affairs, culture and sport, and the warm inner glow that comes from supporting one of our nation’s precious few independent media concerns.
